If the heated pool is the heart of Drakenskloof, then the natural river is its soul. Dipping into it will become a daily ritual with the people you love.
The perennial Bastiaanskloof river runs alongside India House no more than 100 metres from the front door. With the ability to revive, it’s the best place to start your morning, cool off during the day, and the ultimate reward after a run, cycle or hike.
The river garden is nature's playground. While children explore the creatures both inside and out, mom, dad and everyone else can settle into full relaxation. Shady trees, oversized pouffes and sun loungers provide an idyllic setting for picnics, afternoon mezze or a more formal dinner under the stars.
